Christmas Cupcake Toppers

December 26, 2011 · by Jany · Leave a Comment

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the time with their families and friends. Today I want to show you how to make some simple Christmas cupcake toppers. I made these for our Christmas party.

First you are going to roll out some red Satin Ice Fondant on a non-stick mat; about 2-3mm thick.

With a 1 1/2″ round scalloped cutter cut your circles.

Once your circles are cut remove the excess fondant.

With a #2 piping tip punch out holes on each of the scallops.

Using the FMM alphabet cutter set I cut the letters to spell “Merry Christmas”.

Then using the PME Holly Leaf Plunger Cutter set I cut out the tiny Holly Leaves.

Once the letters dried out a bit, with a little bit of water and a brush I glued them on to the scalloped circles and I did the same with the Holly Leaves.

Below are a few pictures of scalloped circles and the cupcakes.

Thank you for stopping by & stay sweet!
